Dear Preschool Families,

We understand that this year is very different. Please remember that we are following NM state guidelines in order to allow us to remain open and that we are focusing on the safety of all students and staff. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to the health staff at either preschool site. We want to send a couple of reminders regarding RUVNA and illnesses:

*If your student has even one symptom from the RUVNA list, please keep your child home and we will be contacting you with further instructions. The RUVNA screening does not always tell you that your child has to stay home, but it is the district’s policy that any symptom of COVID requires evaluation by your primary care provider, or 10 days of virtual learning to ensure they are not contagious. If you send them with a symptom marked, we will have to send them home.

*If you get your student COVID tested, please remember we do not accept “rapid” test results, it must be the full PCR COVID test. This one takes a couple days to get results. You must speak with the health office staff before your student may return to class.

Thank you for your partnership in education and health!

Thanks so much to the staff and families that participated in our open house last night. It was wonderful to be able to interact and answer questions that you have about the upcoming year. We are looking forward to continually learning and growing together. For those who were unable to make it, below is a pdf of the presentation that was given. As always if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
